Front camera is in and working great (although I'm currently using the USB socket rather than hardwiring - future task).
This all used to work with my old iPhone 8. Now, when I plug my iPhone 11 into the newly cleaned USB port, using a brand new, wokrking Apple branded lightning to USB lead (£19 !!!), the phone intially starts to charge but then flicks in and out of charging rapidly for about 30 seconds before refusing to charge at all.
The module may be located under either the driver or passenger seat or behind the Bolero. If it is easily accessible, have a look at the part number and post it here. One newer module available is the 7P6035730K. This will support your phone. However..
The ability to connect my iPhone to the in-car system (albeit it using a wire still) is impressive. SmartLink superseded MirrorLink in Skoda cars from 25th May 2015 so if you're looking at a used car it's important to check what you're getting if you want the system.
