As you can tell, this is definitely on the shorter and easier side of hiking options. The route should take about 25 minutes to get up and another 15 or so minutes to get down.
After seeing the spectacle of Trümmelbach Falls, you may get back on the PostBus like the one that took you there from Lauterbrunnen or Stechelberg, or you can follow the path of the river coming from the falls back to Lauterbrunnen on a relatively flat hike that will take you about 35-50 minutes. 8. Get the train to Wengen. One of the best things to do in Lauterbrunnen is to take a train to the car-free picturesque village of Wengen, which is situated high above the valley at 1,274 metres. The scenic train ride is an experience in itself, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and waterfalls.

Perched high above the Lauterbrunnen valley at an altitude of 1274m, Wengen is a fashionable yet traditional alpine village in the Bernese Oberland. It can only be reached by cogwheel train, making it traffic-free. Thanks to the absence of traffic, the village boasts pure mountain air.
